What Is Islam?
Islam is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion that says there is only one God (Allah) and that Muhammad is God’s last prophet. The History of Islam:
Muhammad said that in the seventh century, the angel Gabriel came to him. During these bright appearances, which lasted about 23 years until Muhammad died, the holy messenger is said to have told Muhammad what Allah said (the Arabic word for “God” utilised by Muslims). This is how the Qur’an, which is the most important book in Islam, came to be. Five Pillars of Islam
The Five Pillars of Islam, also called “Pillars of the Religion” or “Arkan al-Islam,” are the most important parts of Islam. Believers must do them, and they are the foundation of Muslim life. 1-Shahada: Faith
The Shahada is a statement of faith that says there is only one God and that Muhammad is God’s messenger. It is a set of words that are usually said in Arabic:
“There is no god but God, and Muhammad is God’s messenger.”
2-Salat: Prayer
The second part of Islam is prayer, or Namaz. Salat is the word for prayer in Arabic. Sunna says that Salat is made up of five prayers a day. Here are the names of the prayers and when they are said:
i-Fajr: which means “dawn,” is the time when the Fajr prayer is said.
ii-Dhuhr (noon): Dhuhr is done at noon, when the sun is no longer at its highest point.
iii-Ar (afternoon): Asr is the prayer before sunset in the evening.
iv-Maghrib (evening): is the prayer said after sunset, and v-Isha (night) is the prayer said at night.
3-Zakat: Charity
Zakat, which means “alms,” is the act of giving alms if you have enough money. The word “zakat” means “cleaning and growth” because it helps people make changes and encourage new growth. Realizing that everything has a place in God is an important rule for purification and growth.
4-Sawm: Fasting
The purpose of the fast (Sawm) is to help Muslims get closer to God and ask him to forgive them, to thank him and put their trust in him, to make up for their past mistakes, and to remember the poor. An Evaluation of Islam

Muslims believe that if they keep the Five Pillars, they will go to heaven. The Bible shows, in an interesting way, that sinful people can never measure up to the perfect God (Romans 3:23; 6:23). By putting their trust in Jesus in a humble way, sinners can be saved by God’s grace.
